Research Interests

My research aims to bring resources of contemporary continental European philosophy, especially the traditions of hermeneutics, phenomenology, and existentialism, to bear on perennial questions of the philosophy of religion and philosophical theology. Current projects involve bringing Hans-Georg Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics into conversation with French phenomenology after the theological turn.
