Biography
Karl Zou studies demography and statistical methods. Much of his research falls within the areas of residential segregation, advanced statistical methods, and spatial analysis. His current research agenda includes several projects, one that develops discrete choice models of addressing individual and contextual factors in determining residential outcomes. Another project estimates migration patterns in small areas using Bayesian statistics. He is also interested in processing the restricted historical census as a data infrastructure project.
