A faculty-led field trip is a study abroad opportunity for students who have enrolled in specific courses, and must participate in the field trip as a required component of the class. These are typically up to 10 days long and offer at least 3 hours of credit through Texas A&M (as part of the course itself). The students are led by their faculty instructor and participate in the trip with their fellow classmates. You must obtain approval by the faculty leader for a field trip, and you must ensure you prepare accordingly. Some faculty-led field trips are during the semester (on top of class days), and it is your responsibility to understand whether or not this is feasible with your class schedule.
