Undergraduate Study Abroad

Studying abroad enhances your university experience and facilitates global connections. While abroad, you can apply what you learn in the classroom to real world situations and expand your view of the world. The experience forces you to step outside your comfort zone while navigating a new country on your own. This builds independence, resilience, and self-confidence from problem-solving and adapting to unfamiliar situations. The chance to make lifelong friends from different backgrounds, broadening your social network and cultural understanding is invaluable.

Study Abroad With Economics

Texas A&M University provides many study abroad programs for all of their students, but the Department of Economics has a partnership with Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Erasmus teaches courses in English and is specifically catered to Economics majors.

This program is quite affordable, with cost of living and tuition and fees similar to spending a semester in College Station. If you are interested, look through our pages about why visiting another country is so beneficial.
