Prospective and New Students

I’m a TRANSFER student, considering applying to major in Global Languages and Culture (GLST, SPAN, MODL-FREN-GERM-RUSS, CLSS)

While we can provide advising about how your coursework would apply towards our degrees, we cannot review admissions materials or determine your eligibility for acceptance.

Transfer Admissions Requirements for our Majors:

I’m a FIRST-YEAR (first time attending college full-time) student, considering applying to Global Languages and Culture (CLSS ,GLST , MODL – FREN-GERM-RUSS, SPAN)

Admissions decisions are made by the Office of Admissions

They are going to be the best source of information regarding the application and acceptance process.

However, we are happy to speak with you to answer questions about our department or program.

Visit the New Aggie website for guidance on your next steps. The New Student & Family Programs office is here to support your success as a new student, from the time of your admission through your first year at Texas A&M.

Please note: We are not able to schedule advising meetings with students before students attend their New Student Conference (NSC).

The second day of your NSC will be spent learning about and preparing for your academic experiences at A&M, where you’ll meet with our college and our departmental advisors to prepare for class registration that afternoon.

I’m a current student who would like to change my major to CLSS, GLST, MODL- FREN, GERM, RUSS, or SPAN.
