Force requests are only considered for graduating seniors or students with extenuating circumstances who are unable to register for any other course or section to meet their degree/graduation requirements. Support from the student’s academic advisor confirming the student situation is required. Please note:
- Force requests are not guaranteed, even for graduating seniors.
- Force requests will be processed roughly 14 business days prior to the start of the semester.
- Force requests for courses that have open sections are not considered.
- Force requests for courses based on instructor preference or a time preference are not considered.
To submit a force request, please email undergraduate@stat.tamu.edu with the following information.
- Name
- UIN
- Desired course and section
- Expected graduation date
- Attach or forward major advisor confirmation that a force request is needed to avoid delaying graduation and student has no other options.
