The Department has two laboratories for computer-aided instruction, in rooms 1201 and 1107 of the O&M building. Taken together, the two computing labs are equipped with a total of 54 student workstations, featuring a suite of meteorological and other instructional software. The computing labs are used by a majority of undergraduate Meteorology courses (at all levels), and are available for independent work and study whenever not in use by classes.
In addition to the computing labs, the Department also maintains a student computer room in O&M 1111, dedicated entirely to independent work. This independent computing room features 5 Windows-equipped workstations, along with a color printer and a poster printer.
