Application Process

The Department of Geography does not have a strict application deadline. However, priority is given to students who apply and complete their applications by Jan. 1. Applications submitted and completed past the deadline are prioritized by the date they are received. For applicants meeting this deadline, we aim to have admissions decisions completed by early February. By early March, we will make offers for teaching assistantships, and applicants will have until April 15 to accept or decline our offer. Therefore, by mid-April we may have additional openings for students.
